Ambiance

You can immediately tell it's an Indian restaurant from the entrance 😊

Unfortunately, since we didn’t make a reservation, we couldn’t sit right next to the window to enjoy the view.

However, the tables are spaced out nicely, so you can still enjoy the view of Myeongdong Cathedral even if you’re not at a window seat.

That said, if you want a better view, reserving a window seat is a must!

It’s super convenient to make a reservation through Naver, so it’s a good idea to book in advance before your visit.

Food

Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) was a curry rich in the refreshing taste of tomatoes and the smoothness of cream.

There were generous chunks of chicken, so we didn’t feel like we were running out of chicken while eating.

At first, I was surprised that it was served in a small bowl that looked like a rice bowl.

But since the bowl was quite deep, it turned out to be just the right amount for the two of us to enjoy with naan and rice without feeling short.

Butter Naan Iwas soft and chewy bread.

Dipping it into the curry made it absolutely delicious!

Ordering naan is a must when you go to an Indian restaurant

Rice The shape was a bit long and slender, looking quite different from Korean rice, right?

Unlike the sticky and glossy texture of Korean rice, it had a softer feel.

Maybe that’s why it paired so perfectly with the curry!

In fact, I enjoyed eating it with rice even more than with naan.

Summary

Taj was a great spot to enjoy a meal with a view of the Myeongdong Cathedral.

It’s definitely worth stopping by at least once when you visit Molto Espresso!

There seemed to be a lot of Indian customers, so I’d recommend it if you want to experience an authentic Indian taste.
